It’s Not Where You Are—It’s Where You’re Headed

If you’ve ever caught yourself comparing your progress to someone else’s—you’re not alone.
It’s easy to do: you see someone looking fitter, moving with more ease, or seeming like they have it all figured out. Suddenly, your own efforts don’t feel like enough.
But comparison rarely tells the full story. It zooms in on someone else’s ‘moment’ and skips right over the context—like how long they’ve been at it, what they’ve overcome, or what support they might have that you don’t see.
The truth is: comparison doesn’t motivate—it discourages. And over time, it can chip away at your confidence, your momentum, and your joy in the process, which as we know is a struggle to get going in the first dang place.
Side note: social media can F off. (Oops! inside voice)
Here’s a reframe I’ve been thinking about: Instead of comparing where you are now to someone else’s results, zoom out. Look at your trend, not your position.
Are your habits trending in a direction that supports the life you want to live?
If you repeated your current day for the next 100 days, would your health be in a better place? <—- this one really got me
What small, consistent change could shift your trajectory?

The magic isn’t in doing everything perfectly. It’s in stacking tiny wins, showing up with intention, and remembering that your progress is your own.
Keep your eyes on your own path - ignore what everyone else is doing. You’re doing better than you think. Keep doing you and you only, boo-boo 💗
